Marketing & Advertising Manager (Full Time)

We are recruiting for a marketing and advertising manager with good local connections and a solid marketing background and, ideally, experience of the hospitality industry.

The successful candidate will promote Prested as a wedding and conference venue, as a hotel and as a successful 1200-member health club and spa.

 

The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage several projects at once.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent copywriting skills and will be able to write and word perfect articles, press releases, promotional leaflets and brochures, use a photo management system, and will prepare adverts across all Prested departments.

 

Experience of social media and e-marketing are also essential in this role and knowledge of local and national web and print media desirable.

 

The successful candidate will be able to plan advertising and promotional campaigns across the board, with a pro-active approach but also be able to respond to last-minute marketing opportunities, while also organizing an annual marketing strategy for all departments.

Salary will depend on experience.

Operations manager – Prested Health Club & Spa

 

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking individual as Operations Manager at Prested Health and Leisure Club.

Prested Health Club is a privately owned members club situated within the Grounds of Prested Hall in Feering. The Club currently has in excess of 1000 members and offers a state of the art ‘Pulse Fitness’ gym, a 20m indoor pool, sauna and steam room, Real Tennis and Lawn Tennis courts and a popular Elemis Spa.
 
The ideal candidate will be a hands on, highly capable all-rounder who will be able to assist the manager in the day-to-day running of the Club.  Duties will include promoting the services and facilities we offer, welcoming guests and members and dealing with enquiries and membership sales, training new staff, maintaining high standards of customer care and cleanliness, ensuring the health, safety and security of customers, staff and the premisis, daily and monthly banking and reconciliation and stock ordering.  Some background in food and beverage would also be an advantage, as a busy Bistro operates within The Club.
 
Experience with regards to pool plant room management, building maintenenace, fire regulations and general knowledge with regards to the fitness industry are also an advantage.
This position requires you to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota, and will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Due to our location and the hours of work, it is essential that you have your own transport.

Receptionist (full-time)

We are currently recruiting for a full-time receptionist to join our front of house team at The Hall.

 

The position is customer focused, so the ideal candidate must have fantastic customer service skills, be welcoming and friendly, efficient and organised and be capable of creating a great first impression for guests, going the extra mile where necessary.

 

The receptionist duties will include dealing with inquiries and bookings via phone, email and third party sites so knowledge of basic programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook is a must. You will be the first point of contact and to all guests and will be required to answer the phone promptly and be able to transfer calls to relevant departments.

 

This position will require you to work both early and late shifts on a rota.  Weekend shifts are also included.

Due to our location and hours of work, it is essential that you have your own transport.  There is no live-in accommodation available for this position.

Full time General Builder/Carpenter

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced general builder and carpenter to join our in-house maintenance team.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience dealing with a wide variety of building and general maintenance issues and help to maintain the various buildings and services onsite.  You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also be able to work independently, use your own initiative and have high standards of workmanship.

Having your own tools and transport is beneficial.  Some weekend work will be required.

Front of House Supervisor

 

Prested Hall is a busy, award winning wedding and conference venue which, outside of these events, operates as a small quality country hotel, set in extensive grounds, with its own large health club and Elemis Spa next door.  We are currently looking for an individual to join our busy and hardworking team in the hotel.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience within the food, beverage, hospitality industry and be looking to progress to a supervisory role.  You must be a ‘people person’, be welcoming, cheerful and be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that guests receive a service that exceeds their expectations.  You will take pride in your work and lead by example.   The ideal candidate will be able to work with, and lead, an experienced team of staff, and have a very ‘hands on’ approach to their work.

 

Duties will include setting up, serving and clearing down functions, stocktaking, ordering of supplies, the training of new employees, cash and credit card handling, taking reservations, dealing with enquiries, ensuring the safety and security of staff and guests and other related tasks.

 

The successful candidate will need to be flexible with regards to shifts and have their own transport, due to location and shift patterns.
