Relax and rewind with a delicious afternoon tea in Essex here at Prested Hall.

Undeniably a quintessentially British institution to be enjoyed with friends or family at your leisure.

Since we believe in tradition, your afternoon tea is served on crisp white linen tablecloths, using fine vintage china. Tea in a tea pot (obviously), with over a dozen different leaf teas to choose from including Organic Darjeeling and Egyptian Mint. Conversely, if you prefer Yorkshire Tea, please ask, we do that too!

Food at Prested is freshly prepared by our talented chefs, thus our menu changes according to the season.  Afternoon tea is served with style in The Hall in one of our lovely reception rooms.   It can also be served on the decking or lawns outside, weather permitting.

£16.50pp or £23pp with a glass of champagne.

Our menu changes from season to season, and we will be introducing a new menu on Tuesday 3rd April.

“I booked afternoon tea for nine. A special 80th birthday treat for a special friend. We had a wonderful time. Excellent food. Service. Especially our waitress Emily. Our table was in the window overlooking the lake. So peaceful. I would definitely book again. Highly recommend afternoon tea.” Tripadvisor review, December 2017
