Duty Manager – Full Time
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our management team at Prested Hall.  Prested Hall is an award winning, privately owned hotel and wedding venue which plays host to over 100 weddings and events annually, as well as catering for many corporate clients and leisure guests that enjoy pamper breaks at our Elemis Spa.

As a Duty Manager, you will play a full role in the day to day management of this beautiful 14 bedroom boutique hotel, with 4 function rooms and extensive grounds. The ideal candidate will be able to work with, and lead, an experienced team of staff, and have a very ‘hands on’ approach to their work, leading by example.  This would be an ideal opportunity for an individual who has hospitality or catering experience and is looking to progress their career into management.

We are very focused on offering a friendly, relaxed, professional and discrete service, and are proud to receive such glowing reviews from our guests.  You would be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as maintaining our expected levels of service.

Other duties will include stocktaking, ordering of supplies, the training of new employees, cash and credit card handling, taking reservations, dealing with enquiries, ensuring the safety and security of staff and guests and other related tasks.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in this industry, be flexible with regards to shifts and have their own transport, due to location and shift patterns.

Receptionist – Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a full-time receptionist to join our team at Prested Hall.

Prested is an award winning country house hotel and wedding venue with a large adjoining Health Club and Spa.

Prested offers 14 beautiful bedrooms and 6 serviced apartments as well as a busy restaurant which serves afternoon tea, evening meals and Sunday lunches.

The receptionist duties will include dealing with inquiries and bookings for accommodation and dining via phone, email and third party sites, so knowledge of basic programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook is a must. You will deal with payments, check guests in and out and be responsible for administrative tasks relevant to your department.  You will be the first point of contact and to all guests and will be required to answer the phone promptly and be able to transfer calls to relevant departments.

The position is customer focused, so the ideal candidate must have fantastic customer service skills, be welcoming and friendly, efficient and organised and be capable of creating a great first impression for guests, going the extra mile where necessary.

This role will require you to work 5 days a week on a flexible rota of early and late shifts, and will include weekend work.

Bar & Waiting Staff – Part Time
We are currently recruiting for part-time staff to work at Prested Hall.

Prested Hall is not just a 14 bedroom hotel, we also cater for a great number of fantastic weddings every year as well as Sunday lunches, afternoon teas and corporate, family and themed events. We are looking for cheerful, enthusiastic and driven individuals who have a passion for offering THE best service. You must be customer focused and be happy to go the extra mile and ensure that each and every customer is looked after and leaves wanting to return.

Our waiting team are responsible for setting up our events, taking orders, serving food and drink, polishing cutlery and glassware, preparing bills and dealing with payments.

We are able to offer casual working hours, however weekend work is required. Experience in hospitality is an advantage, although not essential as training will be given.
