Puppy Training at Prested Hall
Have you just welcomed a new furry family member and would like a little guidance? Would you like to enhance your dog handling skills or maybe teach an old dog new tricks? We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting puppy and dog training classes in the grounds here at Prested Hall.
We were delighted when Matt approached us about holding his Help for Hounds classes here in the grounds at Prested, not only is he a genuinely friendly and welcoming person but he is also a highly qualified trainer, dog behaviourist and proud member of the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter.
In May 2020 he achieved a level 5 diploma (with distinction) in canine behaviour from studying with the International School of Canine Psychology & Behaviour (ISCP) and is an accredited IMDT member and trainer (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers). With this and his determination for continued personal development, he will ensure that he can provide you with the most appropriate and up-to-date force free solutions to train your dog.
Also having grown up in a family who always had dogs, from a German Shepherd to a Greyhound and Labrador, he knows how important and rewarding a positive relationship between dog and owner can be.
He now cares for his own big and fluffy Labradoodle who you will meet from time to time on the courses.
