We asked guest David Whymark why Prested was such a special place to him and indeed the whole Whymark family. Here’s how David put it.
‘My relationship with Prested Hall started many years ago when my wife and I and our friends were looking for a venue to host our joint 35th wedding anniversaries. We had enjoyed Sunday lunches and afternoon tea previously and thought ‘let’s see if we can book The Hall’. This party was a great success, we couldn’t fault it and had great feedback from our guests. Since then, we have celebrated my wife’s 70th birthday and then my own 80th which was a fantastic 60’s themed event.
As soon as you walk through the door it feels comfortable, The Hall is always spotless, it’s a home-from-home for me. All of the staff are great, the food was delicious with more than adequate amounts and the accommodation was perfect, I can’t fault it. We slept so well, the beds are amazingly comfortable.
All of my parties at Prested Hall have been wonderful, the most important thing for me is the memories that they have created. Unbelievable memories. The only problem for me now is finding a reason to return’.
