Country house hotels in Colchester are few and far between, but Prested Hall more than makes up for this with style, comfort, masses of atmosphere and great staff.  Located just off the A12, in Feering, near Colchester in Essex, it’s location is ideal to visit many places in Essex.  Next door to the main hotel, Prested Hall has a large well-equipped health club containing 6 serviced self catering apartments, an Elemis spa, sports massage and holistic treatment rooms and courts for the ancient game of real tennis.

The 6 serviced self-catering apartments located in our Health Club, all face south to capture those sunny days and are warm and comfortable. The kitchenette facilities vary from apartment to apartment – so please specify your needs when booking. The self-catering apartments can be booked for anything from one night to a month or two. The finer details:
The Hall serves meals between 12.00pm & 8.00pm.

The Health club closes at 9.45pm.

Our 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are located within our Health club, these rooms have a large lounge and basic self catering kitchenette.   Each apartment has its own shower room, toilet and Freeview TV.

If you are staying in an apartment as part of a wedding party, you can request to join other wedding guests for breakfast at The Hall.

If  The Hall is not holding a private hire event, you may be able to add breakfast at £15pp per night to your stay. There is limited availability for this so please check with reservations whether this is possible during your stay. Breakfast Times: Mon-Fri: 7.00-9.30am, weekends and bank holidays: 8.00-10.00am.

 

**Please note that the swimming pool, sauna and steam room are for use by adults only. There are three family swims for children available at the weekend. Saturdays at 11.45am til 12.30pm and 4.15pm til 5pm. Sundays at 3.30pm – 4.15pm.  Family swims must be pre-booked and have limited availability.**
