We’re located in Feering, Essex. We are 9 miles south of Colchester, conveniently accessible from the A12, with parking is available onsite. There is a local train station (Kelvedon) 1.8 miles away.

Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 220 guests seated for a sit down dinner. We have various spaces at Prested Hall that can host events of different sizes and can also host segregated events.
Yes! We have both beautiful indoor spaces and scenic outdoor ceremony sites available.
Absolutely. Many couples choose to have both their ceremony and reception here for convenience.
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own suppliers and we can also recommend trusted professionals we work with regularly.
Yes! You may bring your own vendors, provided they meet our insurance and safety requirements.
We provide up to 220 chairs and 20 round tables, trestle tables are also available. Table linens, cutlery, crockery and glassware will be provided by your catering company/ bar company and décor is provided by the relevant company too.
Vendor access is typically available 1-2 hours before the event start time. Early setup may be possible with prior approval from the management team.
Local regulations require that music ends by midnight. We are not licensed for amplified music in our marquee and all evening receptions must take place inside the main house where noise levels are closely monitored.
Smoking & vaping is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Open flames are restricted indoors, we can allow candles with enclosed flames, but we prefer LED candles.
Yes! We allow two authorised Firework Display Companies- Dynamic Fireworks & Firework Crazy. Please contact us for more information.
Cancellations made [X days/months] before the event may receive a partial refund. Full details are outlined in our booking agreement.

A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit are required to confirm your booking.
Yes, we are able to offer flexible payment schedules to make planning easier.

Yes, we offer free onsite parking for up to 150 cars. There are spaces at the front of The Hall and an overflow carpark too.
