Here at Prested Hall, we have been hosting weddings for over 20 years and we are proud to be one of the most prestigious dry hire wedding venues in Essex, no matter the type of event you are planning we have experts on hand to discuss the intricate details of your special day.
Prested Hall is a beautiful, privately owned, 15th-century country manor house, positioned at the end of a tree-lined drive in 75 acres of gorgeous Essex parkland. We have fabulous reception rooms available for exclusive hire and our delightful waterside Pavilion & Bridge are all licensed for civil ceremonies. So, whether you are looking for an alfresco summer ceremony on the lawn or an intimate winter ceremony in our warming oak-paneled room, Prested Hall has something for all
You also have the option to dine in our traditional marquee with picture-perfect views across the manicured lawns, moat, and the stunning parkland beyond, creating the perfect backdrop to any wedding breakfast.

When you choose Prested Hall to host your wedding or event you will have exclusive use of the entire manor house, it’s various different characterful rooms and the surrounding grounds, enabling you to relax and really make Prested Hall your own.
We can host weddings of all sizes, from a small and intimate civil ceremony, gathering with your closest family and friends or a much larger celebration of up to 220 guests, whatever your requirements are you’ll always find a calm, professional and welcoming environment at Prested Hall.
The Hall offers 13 individually styled bedrooms, providing a fantastic night’s sleep for you and up to 32 guests. The accommodation is split over three floors and our rooms are a mixture of double, twin, and family rooms all with private facilities.
We have parking facilities for up to 150 cars.
